Write for us
Everyday World Review welcomes pitches that make a familiar part of daily life newly visible. We are interested in precise, well-framed pieces about objects, customs, spaces, routines or language, written for curious general readers.
What to propose
A strong pitch names one subject, the question or distinction at its centre, and why a reader would find the answer useful or intriguing. Tell us the likely approach, the material you would draw on and how the piece fits one of the publication's categories.
A good fit
We prefer focused, evergreen ideas that can be explained without invented experience, unsupported claims or specialist advice. Avoid pitches that depend on statistics, risky do-it-yourself directions, local rules or claims that one custom represents everyone.
How to send it
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include a short outline and a little about your approach. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication; please do not send a complete commissioned-length piece unless requested.
